Islampur Residents of Milanpally Constitutes Own Para Raksha Committee to Stop Dacoity

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 14^th July, 2017: The residents of Islampur’s Milanpally constituted their own Para Raksha Committee after losing hope on Islampur’s Police Administration. The Para Raksha Committee started their work from yesterday itself. This has created a furor throughout Islampur. On the other hand, Islampur Police have lauded the move. This is the immediate outcome of the series of dacoity occurred in this area recently. The residents have lost all hopes from the police and have started their own Raksha Committee. Islampur is recording theft and dacoity every day. The secretary of the Milanpally Para Raksha Committee Mr. Bikram Das said this is an obvious move by us when such dacoity and theft cases have increased in this area. The IC of Islampur Police Station Mr. Sukumar Ghosh told TNI that “If people come up voluntarily then it would be easier for us to tackle the miscreants. We laud the move of the Milanpally residents”.
